| Summary | The complete story was drawn by Kentarou Miura while he was still a University student in 1988, and is the basis upon which the present Berserk is built. It differs in certain ways from the published works of Berserk in the setting details, world view, etc., but it's "will" still lives on in today's Berserk. This should be lightly read as having taken place after the Band of the Hawks chapters.
